Day 4/365 of “unlearning”

I saw the way the clouds were illuminated by the sunset and I had to grab my camera out of the backseat of my car before running into the store. The orange against the purple was everything. And if you look close in the center of the cloud, it looks like there was the hint of an aurora. And there was just something about the juxtaposition of the ordinary parking lot against the otherworldliness of the sky. I love that this project is forcing me to slow down and look at the world around me again. And I think I am going to start making these posts more diaristic in nature because that’s what it feels like I am doing with capturing the world around me.
