My Biggest Passion

If I could be known for only one form of photography, I can state that without a doubt, it’s street photography. Every time I edit any of this work or go out to photograph it, I am reminded of my love for it.

So what is street photography? Well to put it in its most simple form, it is the art of photographing every day people in their every day lives, without them knowing about it. It’s one of the oldest forms of photography and some of the greatest names in photography history were street photographers.

For me, what draws me to it is the capturing of the pure moments of evanescence. The fleeting moments that unless frozen in time by the camera, would be gone forever. It’s about taking these small moments and making them grander than they are!

I am currently working on two street photography projects, one focused on NYC and the other on Las Vegas. Both projects I will be submitting to photo book publishers to hopefully have them published. The NYC one is titled “Strangers in the City of Neon and Chrome,” and the Vegas one is titled “Welcome to Sin City.” Check out a sample of both projects below.
